Community Guidelines
otorae is a place to talk about music with curiosity, taste, and respect.
These Guidelines apply to reviews, usernames, display names, profile images, public profiles, Want to Listen entries, Favorite Artists, and other social content.
Respect other people
Do not harass, bully, threaten, or target others. Hate speech, discriminatory content, degrading attacks, and content promoting hostility or violence are not allowed.
Protect safety
Do not post sexually explicit or exploitative content. Child sexual abuse material and any sexual exploitation of minors are prohibited. Do not encourage or glorify self-harm or suicide.
Keep it genuine
Do not send spam, manipulate engagement, impersonate others or otorae staff, or abuse reporting, blocking, or other safety features. Do not use automation or modified tools to bypass safety features or access restrictions.
Respect privacy and rights
Do not share private information without permission, post illegal content, or infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights, including by posting full song lyrics without permission.
Report and block
You can report a review or user from the “…” menu on the relevant review or public profile. Use reporting tools honestly.
You can block a user from their public profile. Blocking hides that user and their content from your experience, is one-directional, and does not notify the blocked user.
Moderation
Some clearly inappropriate content may be restricted automatically before posting. Reports may be reviewed manually. otorae may remove content and restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts to protect users, enforce these Guidelines or the Terms of Use, or comply with applicable law.
