Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of otorae, a music journal and social service. By creating an account or using otorae, you agree to these Terms and the Community Guidelines.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use otorae. If you are under 13, you may not create an account or use the service.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity through it. Provide accurate information, verify your email address, and do not impersonate another person or organization.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you create and are responsible for it. You must have the rights needed to share it. By posting content, you give otorae the limited permission needed to store, display, and distribute it within the service and operate related features.

Acceptable use

otorae does not permit objectionable content or conduct. You may not:

• harass, bully, threaten, or target others;
• post hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, exploitative, or child sexual abuse material;
• encourage or glorify self-harm or suicide;
• send spam, impersonate others, share private information without permission, or abuse safety features;
• post illegal content or infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights; or
• evade safety controls, access restrictions, or enforcement measures.

Reports, blocks, and moderation

You can report reviews or users and block users from the relevant menus in the app. Blocking hides that user and their content from your experience, is one-directional, and does not notify the blocked user.

Some clearly inappropriate content may be restricted before posting. otorae may review reports, remove content, and restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts to enforce these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or applicable law.

Music information

otorae may obtain music, album, artist, and artwork information from Apple and other providers. otorae is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Apple, any record label, or any artist. Third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ rights.

Service and account deletion

Features may change or occasionally be unavailable. You can delete your account in the app through Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. See Account Deletion for details.
